Pharmaciae - SAPC - 2018 Workshops

SAPC to host 2018 intern workshops

The South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) will conduct intern/tutor workshops across all provinces during March 2018. The workshops aim to enlighten pharmacy interns and their tutors on the processes, requirements and important dates in relation to the pre-registration of interns.

These workshops will be hosted for interns across all pharmacy sectors (hospital, manufacturing, community and academic) to prepare them along with their tutors on what is expected of the interns of Continuous Professional Development (SMS), assessment and professionalism among others.

Interns and tutors will be informed of workshop dates through SMS messages in January 2018. As guidelines, assessment criteria and key dates may change, even active interns who attended the 2017 workshops should ensure that they take part in the 2018 workshops. All interns and their tutors are required to attend the workshops as important information on pre-registration will be provided to assist the intern and the tutor to plan for a successful internship year.
