Introducing the new Council
Following the conclusion of the 2023 Council Elections, the Honourable Minister of Health appointed further Council members in terms of Section 5(b-e) of the Pharmacy Act, 53 of 1974, and constituted Council accordingly for the 2024-2028 term of office in December 2023
Following the conclusion of the 2023 Council Elections, the Honourable Minister of Health appointed further Council members in terms of Section 5(b-e) of the Pharmacy Act, 53 of 1974, and constituted Council accordingly for the 2024-2028 term of office in December 2023. Furthermore, the newly constituted Council held its first ordinary sitting in February 2024, where the following office-bearers were elected in terms of Section 5(2):
- President: Mr Mogologolo Phasha
- Vice-President: Ms Steve Letsike
- Treasurer: Ms Mavis Tlou Shivambu
