Council honours invitations to industry conferences
During 2022, the South African Pharmacy Council was invited to participate in the programmes of three conferences organised by the profession and other stakeholders. Council honoured the invitations to engage with the profession and stakeholders at these conferences. This article review Council’s participation in industry conferences over the past twelve months.
The South African Pharmacy Council has honoured several invitations to attend conferences hosted by the profession during the year. These conferences presented the SAPC with an opportunity to engage with pharmacists, pharmacy support personnel and other industry stakeholders. Resolution of queries, information on SAPC programmes and other key activities were shared with delegates at the three conferences the organisation attended.
The Office of the Registrar attended and exhibited at the Local Choice Conference (8-12 March 2022 at the Birchwood Hotel & Conference Centre, Boksburg), Gauteng Pharmaceutical Services Conference (13-14 October 2022 at Premier Hotel, OR Tambo International Airport), and Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa (PSSA) Conference (01 – 03 September 2022 at Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre, Fourways).
Council officials manning the exhibition stand at these conferences were able to attend to various service requests and queries relating to applications, finance and online transactions from delegates.
